The Dance Warehouse staff is a group of professionals with over 30 years of combined teaching experience. Our instructors are committed to ongoing training through local conventions and yearly travel to New York's Broadway Dance Center. The instructors have a fresh approach to teaching the best technique and give outstanding choreography to their students. Our staff prides itself on being positive role models to every student while offering them an exceptional dance education.
Tracy Standal
has been dancing since the age of three. She began competing and performing during high school, both with studio dancers and as a captain of the Benilde St. Margaret's Dance Team. Her studies include training with members of Keane Sense of Rhythm and Flying Foot Forum, as well as local and national conventions. Tracy has been teaching dance for 17 years. Many of her tiny preschool dancers have grown up to be members of top ranking high school teams, college dance teams, and some to be teachers! The dream of opening her own studio was realized in August of 2004. Tracy takes great pride in being a positive role model for the children she teaches and hopes to bring a love of dance to every child she encounters! Tracy's newest dance adventure began in May 2009 when she was hired as the Varsity Coach of the State Champion Benilde-St.Margaret's Dance Team. She is looking forward to an awesome season working with an extremely talented group of young women.

Anna Bachman Itman
After many years of studio training, she continued her dance education at St. Olaf College. She earned a B.A. in Dance and graduated Cum Laude.
A freelance choreographer, Anna's work has won numerous national awards, including the 2002 Universal Dance Association (UDA) National Pom Title, and has also been commissioned by the University of Kansas, Sam Houston State University, North Dakota State University, the University of Delaware, the Minnesota Timberwolves Extreme Team, and the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders. Anna is a former seven year UDA Head Instructor, teaching high school and college aged dance teams across the country. She was also the Territory Manager for UDA for four years, overseeing the Midwest. Anna currently coaches the National Champion Eden Prairie POM Squad.

Heather Larson
began her dance training at the age of five. She has since studied at the Trollwood Performing Arts Camp, the Red River Dance Company as well as Broadway Dance Center in New York. She has also studied extensively with members of the Flying Foot Forum and Jazzdance. She has worked with L.A. based choreographers Jackie Sleight, Mark Meismer and David Carter. Heather has been teaching and choreographing for 15 years. Many of her students have gone on to dance for nationally ranked college dance teams as well as professionally. We are excited to have Heather and all that she has to offer her students here at The Dance Warehouse!

Teri Clement
is a welcome addition to The Dance Warehouse staff! Her amazing sense of humor and love of kids is unstoppable in the classroom. She grew up dancing all styles, tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, musical theater and hip hop. She began teaching 8 years ago and has led many dancers to win numerous awards both locally and nationally! Teri's love of dance led her to create a performance dance company "Imagine" in the fall of 2005. She has studied at local conventions, and continues to learn through various Master class offerings throughout the Twin Cities. Her passion for dance and teaching is contagious, we're excited to have her as part of our studio.

Kari Moore
has been dancing since she was three years old. She grew up competing locally and nationally through studio dance. While pursuing her degree in elementary education, Kari danced for the St. Benedict National dance team throughout college and was captain and coach of the team in 2005 & 2006. Kari has worked with dancers of all ages and has been teaching for the past 10 years. When she's not busy teaching at The Dance Warehouse, you can find Kari in the classroom at Cedar Riverside Community School instructing 3-8 graders. We love Kari's gentle teaching style and ability to produce results with our littlest through advanced dancers.

Trey Barber
Trey brings his own signature style to The Dance Warehouse. Trey has worked with Jesse McCartney, Jamie Lynn Sigler and Radio Disney artist LMNT. Trey's choreography has been featured on HBO Family, ABC's The View, NBC, ESPN, and the Oxygen Network. He has performed and choreographed numerous routines for the NBA, NCAA, professional dance companies, industrials, and various television projects. His passion and talent are truly inspiring and every class offers a challenge for his students.

Kelly Clement
currently is a freelance choreographer, dance teacher, and an executive at a Fortune 100 corporation. She has over 28 years of dance experience. Her repertoire includes studio dance since the age of 3, dancer & choreographer for the Eden Prairie Pom Squad- UDA Champions, 4 years of ballet/jazz/modern training at the Barbara Barker School of Dance – U of MN, 4 yrs Captain & Choreographer for the U of M Gopher Dance Team, and 3yrs as a Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader. She loves teaching HipHop & choreographing for all genres of dance. Kelly has a passion for sharing the art of dance with students. She currently resides in a quaint city apartment in Minneapolis & lives to teach, dance, & laugh.

Casey Hall
has had a life-long love for dance! She has intensely studied jazz, ballet, hip hop, tap, pom, lyrical, and modern over the last 28 years. After 15 years of studio training, she taught camps for the Universal Dance Association. She studied Marketing at the U of MN where she was the co-captain of the Gopher Dance Team and a student at the Barbara Barker School of Dance. Her love for dancing and working on a team led her to cheer for the NFL for 3yrs with the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders. Her passion for choreography has led her to work with the nationally-ranked University of MN Dance Team, Eden Prairie Pom Squad, as well as several studio, high school, college, and professional teams. Her teaching style empowers students to be true performers and tell a story to the audience. Casey currently is a freelance choreographer, dance teacher, and marketing executive. She lives with her husband in Bloomington and thanks God for the gift of teaching dance!

Stephanie Fellner
Stephanie Fellner received her early training at The Children's Theater Company, the Mpls Conservatory School and MDT. Stephanie studied on full scholarship at the Alvin ailey Dance Theater. While training there, she was awarded an additional scholarship to study at the London Contemporary School. She has been a dancer with Ballet of The Dolls in Minneapolis for the past 18 years. Stephanie's recognitions include being awarded the McKnight Fellowship for Dancers, the Sage Award, in addition to being voted "best dancer" in the Mpls City Pages 'Best Of...' edition. Stephanie is the proud mother of two teens and is thrilled to be part of The Dance Warehouse team.

Jessica Larson
Jessica has been dancing since the age of 4. She was a studio dancer for 10 years. She was then a member of the Eden Prairie High School Varsity Dance Team for 4 years and captain her Junior & Senior year. She continued her dance career in college at the University of St. Thomas where she was a member for 4 years. During her time on the team, they earned two National Championship titles in 2008 and 2010. During her senior year she served as a captain of the team, and received the Tommie Award. Currently Jessica is the Eden Prairie High School Dance Team Assistant Fall Coach and works full-time for Life Time Fitness. She is so incredibly excited to be apart of the Dance Warehouse Staff and to share her passion for dance with her students.

Jenna
Jenna has danced since the age of three, participating on the top competitive studio danceline. She graduated in 2008 from the University of Iowa with a degree in Dance and Journalism, and a minor in Communications. She has performed at the American College Dance Festival Association (ACDFA), and at the University of Iowa Dance Gala 2004 – 2008, which featured her in several ballet solos and duets. As a dancer, she recently filmed a national Big Lots commercial which is currently being aired. Jenna teaches ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and musical theatre at several dance studios around the Twin Cities area. She also serves as the Associate Director for the Waconia High School Show Choir, Power Company, and led them to a successful 2009-10 season. When not dancing or thinking about dance, rare indeed, Jenna enjoys reading, eating and spending time with her family and friends.

Stacie
Stacy is a lifelong dance enthusiast and an accomplished performer, instructor and choreographer. She trained with the Helmer Dance Studio in Wisconsin and went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota where she spent time as a dancer and captain of the University of Minnesota Dance Team. Stacy continued dancing after college as a captain for the Minnesota Timberwolves Dancers. Most recently, she spent three years as the Assistant Coach for the University of Minnesota Dance Team and is beginning her 8th year as a coach for the 4-time state champion, Maple Grove Dance Team. Stacy has choreographed for several dance studios, college dance teams and high school dance teams throughout the Midwest. She also serves as a judge, speaker and guest instructor for UPA, UDA, IASF/USASF and the WACPC.

Jolie Meshbesher
Jolie originally from Burnsville, MN, started dancing at the age of three at a tiny local studio. After her family moved to Minneapolis, she began training at Minnesota Dance Theatre. She attended Interlochen Arts Academy, received a BFA in Acting from the Hartt school in Connecticut, and studied for three years at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Locally, she has performed with Ballet of the Dolls ("Little Match Girl," title role,) James Sewell Ballet, and Saint Paul City Ballet.

Sarah Anderson
Sarah is our Assistant Studio Manager/Receptionist. She is the smiling face that you will greet you when you walk into The Dance Warehouse. Sarah works hard to be organized and make your experience with TDW the best it can be with current newletters, constant phone and email communication and face to face explanation. She is our "go-to" girl for anything and everything out of the classroom. When she is not busy at TDW, Sarah enjoys spending time at home with her fiance and two young daughters, Emma and Lauren.
